The littlest one

Posted on August 31, 2008

Meet Miss Maria.  She is the youngest of four girls and I met up with her and her sisters the other day to document her first birthday.  Her oldest sisters are so sweet with her.  I had a great morning with all of them.  Hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend and soaking up all the sunshine before school starts.

Stunning

Posted on August 29, 2008

I just can’t think of anything more to say, but absolutely STUNNING!  I have said it before and I’ll say it again I NEVER looked like this in high school and neither did my friends–sorry Rachel and Alison–ha!  Kylie and I had lots of fun Wednesday morning.  We stumbled upon a trolley, but the doors were locked.  I really wanted to get inside and take some photos, but oh well.  I have so many favorites that I just had to stop at four for the sneak peek.  I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery.

Beauty

Posted on August 28, 2008

This young girl and I can say that because I know exactly how old she really is (ha) was a pleasure to photogrpah.  She is truly beautiful and sweet.  Her dad and little sister came along and everyone was so laid back and was up for anything.  Beautiful images of a beautiful girl.  I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery.

Quick sneak peek

Posted on August 27, 2008

Well I guess this is really only a sneak peek for all my blog readers since mom just got her gallery tonight.  I had a wonderful time with these two cute kids on Sunday morning.  The picture with Zach and his dogs I just love!  Since I am behind with proofing I am keeping this short and sweet.  More images tomorrow.

Fun at the cabin

Posted on August 27, 2008

Sorry I have been a bad blogger lately.  With school starting and all my client sessions I have fallen behind.  I may have a few sneak peeks tonight, but for sure in a few more days.  I wanted to say thank you to all my clients for being so patient.  Also thank you to everyone who has emailed or called for a mini session.  They are almost all filled.  I am super excited for both mini session dates.  I recently aquired an antique satee and my fabulous Aunt is recovering it for me.  It will be ready for the October mini sessions for sure.  I can’t wait to use it!  I have all kinds of fun ideas for my mini sessions.

Also I wanted to link you all to a great boutique in Racine called Moxie Child.  One of my wonderful clients stopped by the other day (yes I am talking about you Miss Sarah) to show me some great clothes she purchased for her girl’s Fall session.  They are the cover girls from the Milwaukee Family magazine I posted a few posts ago.  I am more than excited to photograph the two of them in these awesome clothes.  I am going to try to make it down there in a few weeks and check it out myself.  If any of you stop by please let me know.

Okay now for a few pictures of my girls at my girlfriends cabin last week.  What a great lazy summer day we had.  Perfect way to end the summer.

Cloudy Day

Posted on August 23, 2008

I just love to photograph on cloudy days.  You can go anywhere you want and not worry about the bright bright sun and everyone squinting.  So on Friday I photographed at the beach on Lake Michigan and had a blast.  As you can see David did too.  What a sweet and warm young man.

When I get home from a session I am like a kid on Christmas morning.  I have to look at the images and I have to edit just a few.  I just cannot help myself!  I absolutely LOVE all of the imgaes from David’s session and had to share just a few.  It will be a few days until I get to the entire gallery, but here is a sneak peek Ann.

Enjoy!

Sneak Peek

Posted on August 18, 2008

Just a quick sneak peek from this past week.   I have been really busy and cannot believe I am registering my girls for school today–where did summer go?  I also photographed a wedding recently for friends so that has kept me busy as well.  No more weddings for me though.  I prefer photographing children much much more!  I am heading out of town for a night and will return on Wednesday.  I will be posting mini session information when I return I promise!  It was on my list to get done today, but no time.

I knew when this was the first image I took it was going to be a great session!  I love them all.

Boys boys boys

Posted on August 17, 2008

These three little boys are just adorable and so well behaved.  We spent some time together on Friday afternoon and they were just so good!  There Aunt Jeni’s house is just beautiful.  A dream spot to photograph.  Maybe next time we can photograph down on the beach in the sand.  I just love these images and had a hard time choosing my favorites to post.

Enjoy!

Me and my girls

Posted on August 14, 2008

My good friend Jenny took this image of my girls and I a few weeks ago when we were up visiting her and her family.  I just love it and can’t wait to see it printed.  My logo is on it, but Jenny took it.  I would link you to her site, but it is not up and ready yet.  She is an amazing photographer and wonderful friend.  Thank you Jenny.   Also I have tons of clients ask how to dress for family session and I always say coordinate.  This is a great example of that.  And notice Kenadie’s head band too.  Just a little punch to her outfit.
