Naturally beautiful

Posted on October 30, 2008

This sweet brother and sister are naturally beautiful inside and out.  They were a complete joy to photograph and Miss Kelly just knew how to look at the camera.  It was a lot of fun for me to photograph these two.  Hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Big brother and sister

Posted on October 29, 2008

I am having a ton of problems with my blog.  It will not let me upload images so I apologize.  It of course has to happen at my busiest time of the year-ha!  I will try to post more soon.  Here are a few of big brother and sister from the post below.  They were a treat to photograph–just a cute as last year!  I hope to post some more soon.

Smiley one

Posted on October 29, 2008

I had such a great time photographing this little guy and his big brother and sister.  This is the first time I got to meet Mr. Jake and he was so smiley and happy.  I could show you tons of images of him–it will be hard to pick a favorite.  Thank you for braving the chilly weather and for inviting me to share a part of your weekend home from Illonis.

remember this sweet tiny newborn?

Posted on October 27, 2008

Well she is now one and still so sweet and adorable.  I cannot believe how fast time goes by.  I remember photographing her while she was still inside mommy’s tummy!  What a privilege it is to be invited into someone’s life for an entire year.  Thank you for a fun year.  I have really enjoyed all of our sessions.  Piper is just beautiful and such a joy to photograph.

What a difference a year makes!

Dad is a Madison alumni and this is Piper’s “Game Day” outfit.  She has already attended her first game.  Peg and Aaron I hope you had a great afternoon!

Pearl

Posted on October 26, 2008

I had so much fun with Miss Pearl.  She is just adorable.  I was a little worried on the day of our session because the weather was gray and rainy so I brought my pink chair.  When I asked mom if I could open her garage and use my chair she was so excited and totally up for it.  I just love when I get to a home and mom trusts me compeltely.  And that trust paid off BIG!  Thank you for a fun morning and allowing me to think out side the box and going with it.  Pearl is just beautiful and so well behaved.  I had a blast!

Meet Jack.  An adorable and very loved new baby boy.  Mr. Jack was not too interested in sleeping and did not like to be naked (who can blame him–he is used to being all nice and warm in mom!)  Nicole and Brad thank you for inviting me into your home at such a special time in your life.  I had a great time talking and photographing Jack.

He was much happier like this than

like this.  I very slowly had to pull the cover off him in stages.  He is so cute!

Love the pumkin hat from the hospital.

Mom and dad are definetly in love with their new bundle of joy!

Mini Sneak Peek

Posted on October 22, 2008

Thank you so much to all the families that particapted in my mini sessions.  I had a great time and am so glad the weather was so nice!  I will be getting galleries to everyone soon!  Check out all the adorable families!

Love her hat!  Mom has great taste.

I just love her hair.  It falls so nicely around her face–cute!

Miss Macy has the most amazing eyes and lips!

Greta was a total ham.  Love it!  What a difference a year makes.

If you look really close you can see what color my camera strap is in her eyes–got to love good light!

Thank you for stopping by!

My girls

Posted on October 21, 2008

So last week I had this crazy idea that I wanted my family pictures taken and I could do it (with my mom’s help because I do not have the patience for a timer or tirpod)  So we headed to “my road” and all the leaves were gone–I was so bummed.  Well we tried and no success.  I knew better, but we tried.  I did manage to get a few good ones of my girls together and got a chance to use my couch.  (LOVE my new couch BTW.  My Aunt recovered it for me–isn’t it awesome!)

Thankfully my photographer friend Amy offered to take some of my family for me.  I have had this vision in my head on how I wanted to use my letters and am so excited to see them.  No pressure at all Amy-ha!  When she posts some on her blog I’ll link you all over.  For now I’ll share a few of my girls.  Amy let me use her studio for a few so I had something to show clients how fun it is to think outside the box sometimes!

Thank you Amy so much.  It is so nice to have you as a friend.  I really enjoying all of our “shop talk” and am so lucky to have you as a friend.

Kenadie has the hip thing down-ha!

Okay so maybe not all the leaves were gone.

What torture it must be for children of a photographer!

Mom and her girls

Posted on October 19, 2008

I was so excited when this mom called me to photograph her with her girls.  I could so relate.  I just knew how important it was to her to have some images with her girls.  Then when I drove up the drive way that day and saw this great second garage (yeah it’s the little things that excite me) i smiled.  Then I met Jenny, Caroline, and Izzy and was so impressed.  I would give anything to have images like this someday with my girls.  Are they not just BEAUTIFUL!

Check out the sky and clouds in the reflection of the windows–pretty cool!

This girl can jump–how fun!  Love this shot Izzy.

As I am proofing the families pictures from the post below I came across this image and love it so much I have to post it.  I just love the color and her lips are a perfect shade of red!  Hope you all had a good weekend and are getting ready for trick or treating!
