Happy Birthday Tatum

Wow five years has flown by. I know everyone warns you that your babies don’t stay babies long, but when you are in the thick of bottles, diapers, teething and sleepless nights it can feel like it will never end. My sweet Tatum turned five today. She is so smart and loves art and writing. I find all kinds of notes taped up around the house from her. Oh she LOVES tape too! Happy Birthday T! And because a post is just not as fun without an image here is one from Fall. One of my favorites of her.

Cover Shot

Hello everyone!  It feels good to be home.  Vegas was fun and I have learned so much useful information from some of the countries top photographers, but home is where I love to be.  I was so excited to see this new cover from Tot Trends Weekly in my inbox.  When Jillian emailed me asking if she could use this image I was so excited!  To take the words directly from her email “Let me just say it is AMAZING!”  I agree Jillian.  I love it.  Thank you so much for asking to use one of my images.  Hope you all had a great week.  Talk to you soon.

happy valentine’s day

I simply cannot keep these images to myself anymore–I adore them!  My girls and I had a valentine’s day photo shoot a few weeks ago for their valentine’s day cards at school.  We had so much fun!  Because I had so much fun next January I will be holding fun mini Valentine’s Day shoots in my studio just like this for all my wonderful clients!  You should see their cards.

Sweet baby jack

Last week was a busy week for newborns for me.  Four in one week!  I had a great time with each and every one of them.  Meet Jack.  He was so sweet and slept the entire time.  I am in love with each and ever image from his session, but am only going to show three for a sneak peek.  Thank you Kristin for a very fun morning.  I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery.

When mom contacted me she asked if I was willing to take images with her and her girls during their newborn session.  I was thrilled.  While most new moms do not want to be in images just days after having a baby (which I totally understand) I was so excited for this session.  Mom had a vision and it was fun to help create it for her.  I just LOVE these images.  So beautiful and powerful.  These little girls will be so grateful to have these one day.  I wish I would have done something like this with my girls.  They grow so fast.

 I recently had the privelege of photographing these adorable twins Kate and Jack.  I just adore newborns.  They are so sweet and innocent.  I try to get in all the extra snuggles I can.  Kate and Jack had a very sweet big “sister” Allie which I did not get a picture of and wish I did.  Allie is a greyhound and I just loved her as well.  Thank you for a wonderful morning!  I hope you are enjoying every minute of your new babies.  They grow so fast!
