I just love love love photographing children of all ages, but especially the 6 to 9 month age. They are so full of expression, love the camera, are sitting up and have the cutest little rolls around their legs! Well this photography session was so much fun for me. I got to photograph the sweetest brother and sister pair and little Miss Aubrey is 6 months old and just adorable. Mom will have a hard time picking a favorite from this session I just know it. I had a hard time narrowing it down for the sneak peek.

Wisconsin Newborn Photographer

As I am sitting here typing this blog entry I keep erasing the words because I cannot seem to get them right. I guess I am so excited to post this image and am in love with it so much there do not seem to be words to describe it. Thank you Melissa for helping with this pose and sticking with me until we got it. Patience is the name of the game with newborns along with a fully tummy and warm space. What a beautiful daughter you have (Mr. Alex is pretty darn handsome too, but I am saving those for a different post)!

Meet Stella

Meet sweet Miss Stella. She has to be one of the smallest newborns I have photographed to date at 5lbs 4 oz. I had so much fun with her (and her mom of course)! Newborns are just amazing. I adore babies and newborn sessions. I am having the hardest time narrowing down my favorites so I am posting a few–am I am sure a few more in the next few days.

I am so excited it is finally nice outside (even though yesterday was a little chilly). I am even more excited about some of the greenery around the studio. The first images below were taken outside the studio–love them!! So very excited we can capture a few outside images there too. Marek was the sweetest little boy to photograph. Dad knew exactly how to get him to smile. Thank you for a fun morning!

Milwaukee maternity photography

I had so much fun with this couple at the natural light studio Mother’s Day weekend. They were so laid back and sweet. This first image is with their first baby–isn’t he cute! As I was watching the slide show from this session I have to say I got tears in my eyes–such an amazing time in a couple’s life and I am so thankful to be able to document it. Ann you look simply beautiful. Can you all believe when I captured these images she only had 11 days to go until her due date–yep I said 11 days. Very soon I will be photographing her precious son. So very excited.

Client Matilda Jane Contest Winner

And it looks like the winner is #7 from my client Matilda Jane Contest. Thank you to everyone who sent in their images and also thank you to all that voted. This was fun and I will be sure to do it again. I had a great time seeing images that my clients took themselves. I posted the winning image below with my edit.
I hope all moms had a fabulous Mother’s Day with their families. I am a little behind in my blogging and hope to catch up soon.

I am so excited to post these images that a few of my clients emailed me(that they took at home) of their daughters in their new Matilda Jane clothes. Gorgeous Maternity..Menomonee Falls Photographer

Look at those eyes and her adorable curls and the connection with the camera. I love it! What a fun maternity session at the Oconomowoc studio this week. I feel so lucky to be part of such a special time in my clients lives. Becoming a big sister and a new mom all over again is amazing! I could not decide if I liked the color of black and white so I am posting both. Thank you for a fun morning Nancy. I’ll be in touch soon.
Hope everyone enjoys a weekend without rain finally! The sun in out and the grass is green again. Spring is here.
