This sweet sweet couple came into my studio for their maternity session and we hit it off right away. Sarah is super late back and just glowing. She was so calm and sweet. What a great mom she is going to make. And Mark well he had so many stories for me to hear–I loved it! I can tell he is going to be a really fun dad. I am very excited to meet this little one next month! Thank you so much for a fun session and what beautiful images for you to treasure.

Girls photo session

Here are a few (ok more than a few) images from a recent photo shoot I did with my girls. I had a blast (not sure they did) See we recently did some remodeling and I was on a mission to get some new images for the house. So I found a few new spots around town, dressed the girls in their Matilda Jane clothes and we set out. I am so excited to see these all printed. I know my girls are not always thrilled when I get out my camera, but I keep telling myself when they are older they will appreciate it–ha!
Well I cannot believe summer is flying by so fast. Back to school stuff is already in all the stores–yikes! I have one more session left open for August and then August is booked. I am now scheduling for the rest of the year. I am thinking about Fall limited edition sessions. Send me an email if you are interested. This fall I am limiting my number of sessions to eight a month. The reason for this is I really want to be able to focus on each session, each client and give you awesome customer service. Plus I would love to enjoy fall just a little bit-ha! I will book fast for Fall so please plan ahead.

This one above was all Sawyer’s idea. She is just so sweet. She comes up with photo ideas all the time and has to tell me about them. She loves to be creative. She is constantly drawing and even writes her own songs and gets out her guitar and sings them–love her!

Merton newborn photographer

Meet Beau–he came to visit me with his mom and dad at 7 days old at the studio. He was the sweetest little baby boy and had the most beautiful skin. It was so obvious how much his mom and dad just adored him. They were so quiet during the session and every time I turned around they were just in awe of him. I feel so honored to be a part of Beau’s first few days. The first series of images are my favorite. I can just feel the love between mother and son. Beau was absolutely so relaxed and happy when his mommy was rubbing his face. So glad we were able to squeeze you in Tricia and Tony. I’ll be in touch soon.

Wisconsin newborn photography

Meet Lucas or “G” as I heard his mom, dad and grandma call him–so sweet! He came to visit me all the way from Madison in the studio at 12 days old. When mom and dad came in to meet with me before their maternity photography session dad walked in and said “I’ll take on of those and one of those” He was pointing to some images on the wall in the studio. Well here is one of those and one of those. I am also happy to get some more great images as well for this sweet family.

Wauwatosa Children Photographer

Check out Mr. Noah. Is he not as cute as a button?! And big sister Alex is equally adorable. I absolutely love all the images from this session at the studio in Oconomowoc. These two beautiful children were just a pleasure to photograph. Sorry this blog post is a little late Kelly–I am posting quiet a few to make up for that. Well I had a really hard time narrowing down my choices too.

My baby is turning four

I took the girls out for a little photo shoot the other day and especially wanted to capture Kenadie because she turns four next week. I have been eyeing up this private property for awhile and knocked on the door and asked to use it and the sweetest older lady answered the door and said “oh dear you have fun” She was so nice! When we got out there I was not prepared for all the mosquitoes and we got eaten alive! I will venture back and try some other locations on the property, but for now I am going to share a few of my sweet baby (or big girl as she would like to be called!) Four years has gone by so fast. As I sit here typing this I have goose bumps and tears in my eyes–I want to keep her this little forever. Love you Addie Patti!

Oconomowoc Children Photographer

Check out these adorable cousins that came in to see me at my natural light studio over the holiday weekend. I think at first they were not thrilled with the idea, but I did get some good laughs out of them. When I told them to pile on the bed this is what they did and I have to say it is my favorite group image from the day. So natural and fun. So glad this session worked into your busy schedule Tara. 6 Months of cuteness…Waukesha baby photographer

I know I say this all the time, but I just love photographing babies from 6 to 9 months. I love all children, but this age is just so much fun. They are sitting up and full of expression and cuteness. Miss Hadley definitely ranks high on the cuteness factor! We had a great time at the studio photographing her–grandma even came along with to get those sweet smiles.

Metro Parent Magazine

A few weeks ago I was contacted by a writer from Metro Parent West Magazine to share my story on how I juggle owning my own business and my family. I was so excited and honored to share my story. I do very much love what I do and feel extremely lucky to have been able to follow my passions and see my dreams and goals come true. I cannot stress enough though how much I lean on my family and friends and how much all their support has made this possible. I am one lucky girl to have the most amazing support group of people in my life.

Meet Miss Emelia….Wisconsin Children Photographer

Meet Miss Emelia who came to visit me in my studio along with mom and her new little sister. She even had an “auntie” here with her–what a lucky girl. We had a great time playing in the studio and she especially loved jumping on the bed! Children love it here because the rule is there are NO RULES!! So fun! I love each and every one of her pictures–especially her big brown eyes and big sweet smile. Can you tell we were having fun!!
