Also is anyone is interested in contributing to my fund raising efforts for the 3 Day Walk for a Cure please visit my personal page HERE. Have a great weekend. Lots of editing is getting done this weekend so check back Monday morning for some sneak peeks.

Exciting!!!

I am so excited to be featured on the blog The Lens Loves. It is a place where portrait photographers can go and be inspired. So needless to say I was thrilled when Krista emailed me asking if they could feature my Fall portrait session with the Kabara Family. What an awesome feeling to be picked by my peers for my work! I definitely have an extra pep in my step today. Hope you are all having a great day! I promise to catch up on the blog soon. I have an adorable family to feature and two newborns to photograph tomorrow…lot of adorable baby images to share soon I am sure.

Sharing
Posted on May 24, 2011
On my blog I don’t tend to get too personal and sometimes sit in my chair and type things I want to share and then delete it. Partly because it sounds better in my head
and partly because I feel like does anyone really care
Today I was on face book and came across a link a friend shared and it really got me thinking….. thinking about my mother in law who passed away a little over a year ago, my father in laws new wedding this weekend, my own parents and family. Ok I think now would be a good time to share this link so you all understand where I am coming from. I teared up as I read through it because it rang so true in my heart. My home is filled with images every where you turn (which drives my husband nuts) there is a moment or memory that puts a smile on my face. It triggers a certain smell, story, feeling and moment in time. It is almost my version of a diary of my children growing up. I know that each individual person and family has things in their lives that the choose to spend their money on and respect it…there is just nothing that can take the place of memories captured on film or in digital format. So I am going to leave you with one of my favorite pictures of my girls from 4 years ago and one from our Florida trip this Spring. Life is moving by so quickly. I love them so much!

I promise to post more from this session, but just one for now. I love the connection between baby and dad…so soft and sweet. They sure do grow quickly and you forget how tiny they were. What an awesome memory!

Last week the sweetest family came into the Oconomowoc studio for some newborn and sibling portraits. Miss Felicity was so sleepy and a perfect adorable baby. Look at all her hair too. I just keep saying “She is just so cute to mom and dad!” I really enjoy this time of year because it is typically full of newborn portrait sessions at the studio. There is nothing more intimate and special than capturing a new family.

And you cannot forget big sister Mary Jean who was a perfect little angel.

merry christmas
Posted on December 24, 2010
I wanted to thank everyone for a fabulous 2010 and let you all know how much I have enjoyed photographing your children and families. Thank you to all my returning clients for your continued support and thank you to all my new clients for trusting me to document your milestones and every day life. I feel truly blessed and grateful for being able to have a “job” I love. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday and am so excited to see you all again in 2011!
Here is just a quick picture of what I will be working on all night for my girls. I am creating a “classroom” for them in the basement for Christmas since all they do in play school when they get a chance. I cannot set it up until they are asleep and have a big red bow for the basement door. Lots to get ready and organize.
Merry Christmas!
Kelly

Lots of cutting for this calendar. I cannot believe how long this took. So worth it though.

A onesie for sweet Eva. I get to photographer her Monday…super excited.
