I was so excited to see Miss Anniston again for her 6 month portraits and when I asked mom if she was sitting up yet she said she had been sitting up for a month!! Well Anniston has the biggest most beautiful eyes. You can get lost in them and they just sparkle. Molly and Adam thank you for sharing your sweet girl with me again. She is just perfect.

My girls…

I wanted to share a few images from a sunset shoot with my girls. Oh how I miss the warm golden light of summer/early fall already…well we have next year! This was a last minute squeeze it in shoot before we lost the light and I have to say it is some of my favorite light and favorite images of them..but of course I would think that because they are mine :)! Love you girls…to the moon and back.
I hope these get people thinking about sunset shoots and putting your faith in me for location and style of shoot.

I was so excited when mom called me to set up this session. I photographed Beau when he was a newborn and was a cutie pie he is now. And can I tell you he is one of the happiest one year olds I know. Oh and he just loves his mom and dad. So nice to see what a happy and loving connection they have.

I am a little behind on sneak peeks and this one if officially not a sneak peek anymore. I had a really fun morning at this families home on the lake. It was a lot warmer and sunnier than it has been here the last few days–makes me miss the sunshine. I love how girlie these girls were dressed and you could tell they loves being in their pink skirts. Super cute! Hope everyone is having a great fall weekend. We are off to Elkhorn for another gymnastics meet tomorrow. Good luck to my bean.

I thought I would mix things up a little and post all black and white tonight! Meet sweet little Easton, big brother Jackson and last but not least mom and dad. I am just in love with the family images from this session. Capturing a new family is just so important. The babies get big and in the midst of all the sleepless nights, diaper changes and dividing your time between children you just forget how small they once were. There really is just something really special about a new little family. I am so honored I could capture that for them.

I had so much fun during this photography session. The session was a “field trip” sort of session and it was awesome. We first started at Lake Michigan and then drove to the Third Ward. Oh and in between we stopped at a tree lined street and shot. I love it when portrait sessions are relaxed, spontaneous and so much fun like this. This was my first time shooting in the Third Ward. I could have stayed there all day. So many possibilities. And it totally helps when my client is so drop dead gorgeous like Kelly is. Thank you so much for a fun afternoon Trisha and Kelly. Meet sweet Ana and her big brother and sister. They are so sweet and in love with their new baby sister. I really enjoyed this newborn session before I left for vacation. This family is just wonderful. I could have hung out with them all day. So calm and appreciative. Big brother and sister were so well behaved and hung out at the studio while Ana had her portraits taken. I love all these portraits and am sharing mostly family images today all in black and white. I meet with mom tomorrow to go over her order and am so excited to see which ones are her favorites!
