This sweet little guy and his parents came into the studio last week and he was just a joy to photograph. I just love it when dads come for the portrait session too. We are then able to capture sweet images in dad’s arms and hands. I am showing all black and whites this time which is a change for me, but I just love them for Landon’s portraits. Especially the first one–another all time favorite.

6 weeks new

Sweet Leo came into the studio with his parents when he was about 6 weeks old (a little older than most newborns) He was not very interested in sleeping, but we did get a few sleepy shots in mom or dads arms. I love these images. A little more documentary than my usual newborn sessions, but I LOVE them just the same. I especially love his big smile when dad was talking to him. So sweet. I cannot wait to see these images printed.

Just a really quick peek for mom and dad. Miss Avalynn came into the studio for her very first photo shoot and was so sweet. I had a great time with her mom and dad and am excited for them to see her gallery. Being a part of a this special time in a new families life just makes me smile. It is fun to watch new parents with their little ones. So soft and sweet.

Mequon newborn photographer

I was so excited when mom contacted me to come out to their Mequon home to photograph their third baby. See her twins which are two now were the very first newborn twins that I photographed and I was super excited to see them again. I had the best time with sweet baby Paige and playing with Kendall and Matthew. Thank you for a fun session Susan. I’ll have your gallery ready soon.

As I am sitting here at my computer editing this wonderful newborn session I came across this image and just had to take a break from editing to share it with you all and give a sneak peek for this family. This image is going on one of my walls at the studio big big big!! I love when I have new images for the studio walls.
Grandma contacted me when this sweet little guy was 10 days old and thankfully I had a cancellation that week to squeeze him in. We had a wonderful session with many amazing images. Thank you for sharing Jesse with me.

Miss Rylee was so sweet and smiley when she came into the studio. She just smiled the entire time and had the most gorgeous big eyes and most beautiful long eyelashes. I had so much fun with her and her mom. We talked about raising three girls and how blessed we both feel to have them. When I was editing these images I just could not stop from smiling and thinking about spring and sunshine. Hope these put as big of a smile on your face as they do mine!

Looking for 6 to 12 month old girl model

Just got some really cute hats from Lisa over at Etsy. I am in need of a 6 to 12 month girl to take some pictures of with one of the hats and headbands. She must be sitting up on her own very well and not yet walking. You would need to sign a release as well because the images will be used on Etsy. Great way to get a free mini session. I also wanted to post a few pictures of my new nephew. He was here all the way from Colorado when he was only 8 days old.
I also want to thank everyone for there kind words, prayers and cards. My mother in law passed away January 26th. Her short, but hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer has taught me to live each day to its fullest. Karen never gave up and loved life. She is very missed and loved, especially by my girls.

Another sweet newborn that came to visit me at the studio. She was so sweet and slept so peacefully. Newborns are such a joy to photography. Each one so tiny and perfect. I love my job.

This sweet little guy and his family (even two sets of grandmas) came into the studio a few months back for his newborn session. He was so sweet a lovable. It was nice to have a few newborns during my busy holiday season and I am excited for all the newborns coming up soon. Big brother was not to sure about getting his picture taken, but I just love the one of him by the door. So serious, but sweet. Still trying to play catch up on blogging.

Last week little Miss Kate came to my studio to visit me and she was such a great sleeper. Totally calm and relaxed. Super cute and sweet too! I just wanted to share a few of my favorite images of her. I know her mom and dad are so thankful to have her in their lives. What a special first Thanksgiving for this sweet family.
