Ok so I’m really behind in featuring sessions on the blog. August has been crazy busy and I love it, but it has made me very behind on my blog :)!
Alexa came into the studio for her 8 year portrait session and reminded me so much of my oldest daughter. We had a lot of fun with all her awesome clothes and even got outside of the studio for a few pictures. Alexa I had so much fun with you. Thank you so much and have a great o first day of school.

I love photographing newborns–their newness is just awesome! Well sweet baby Diya was no exception. She was so adorable, sweet and had the most amazing black hair! Mom and dad were willing to try anything and such great sports. Sweet Diya is one lucky little girl. Thank you for sharing her with me.

I am so excited to share these newborn portraits with a family that I have been photographing since I started my business. I always look forward to the girl’s session every year and now I will look forward to seeing the girls and boy!! Congratulations Sarah and Brian and thank you for continuing to share your family with me. Sarah I know how bad you wanted a canvas of all three kids–you will have a hard time picking which portrait to use for it.

I had the privilege of meeting this sweet new family the other week at my studio. All three children were so adorable and well behaved–and have the best manners. I am really excited for mom and dad to see all the beautiful images!

Sweet Nora is 3 months old and fell asleep as we were getting set up for this portrait. Taking pictures is hard work for little one :)!

Hi all. I know I have been a little behind on blog posts and sneak peeks, but wow is summer busy! I cannot believe that every store already has all the school supplies out–I am not ready to see that yet! We bought the girls one of those blue pools and all the supplies are clearanced out making room for the back to school supplies. I hope you are all having a great summer.
When you get a chance check out my new website. I am so happy with how it all came together. Lots of late nights, but totally worth it.
Now a post is not a post without a few pictures. Here are a few of sweet Sofia from a few posts ago. I promised a few more so here they are. She is just adorable. I’m meeting with mom and grandma soon to pick out portraits for their home. I cannot wait to here which ones are their favorites.

I am back from vacation and promise to return all calls and emails tomorrow. I wanted to quick update the blog with a few amazing newborn family images. Hoping these inspire more dads to go shirtless–I’m really not crazy. It makes for stunning portraits.

Sweet Sofia came into the studio today for her portraits with mom, grandma and her aunt. She is just the most adorable little girl with the biggest blue eyes and sweet smile. She just lite up the studio and is definitely very loved. Grandma is the one who first called me and is just in love with her granddaughter. She said Sofia loves the camera and she was right! It was like she just knew what to do. I had the best day with everyone at the studio today. Thank you! I know there are going to be many favorites from this session and I promise to post more later. Just one for now for mom and grandma.
I will be out of town through July 8th for a workshop and family vacation in Colorado. I hope you all have a fun holiday and I cannot wait to get back to all my wonderful summer portrait sessions. I am currently booking into August and have opened my calendar for Fall. Please call and schedule early. Portrait sessions fill up very quickly.

Sweet baby James came into my studio last week for his newborn portraits and was a dream. I just love newborn photography. Each one is so different yet equally sweet, fresh and new. I must apologize again for being behind with blog posts. Sweet Claire and her parents came into the studio for her first portrait session at 6 months. She is cute as a button and loved to blow raspberries. I think she wins the record for blowing the most raspberries in one session from any client so far. I guess it probably did not help that we all kept laughing each time she did it too. Well this is no longer a sneak peek, but I wanted to share some adorable pictures from this session. I am super behind in blog posts and apologize. Life is getting busier and busier every day. I thought when your children get older (out of diapers and bottles) life became easier–well not really. Pair that with running your own business, volunteering, creating a new website, taking on more commercial projects, workshops and a hubby that volunteers too life can really seem crazy.
Well I know this proud mom is waiting to see her sneak peek so I had to edit just these two for her tonight. They are the most adorable big brown eyed duo ever!! I had a blast with them at the studio. I first photographed sweet Aubrey as a newborn and look at her now at 1–simply gorgeous. Mr. Drew is pretty darn cute too! Thank you for a fun afternoon.
