Taking a little break from all the sweet newborns to post Bennett’s one year pictures. He is so adorable and super fun to photograph. I love all the different expressions I got from him that day. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

I was so excited when mom contacted me to come out to their Mequon home to photograph their third baby. See her twins which are two now were the very first newborn twins that I photographed and I was super excited to see them again. I had the best time with sweet baby Paige and playing with Kendall and Matthew. Thank you for a fun session Susan. I’ll have your gallery ready soon.

I am so far behind on blog posting and I apologize for those of you waiting for your sneak peek. It has been a busy 2010 so far and I LOVE it!!
Meet Miss Elliot. She is just a little peanut at six months old. She was so sweet and smiley for me. I had the opportunity to photographer her mom and dad before she was born and then her newborn portraits (she is the sweet newborn in the sample album at the studio) and now when she is 6 months old. I love getting to know families and feel so honored to be able to document little ones lives. Thank you Sarah and Mark. Elliot is just beautiful.

Looking for 6 to 12 month old girl model
Posted on February 5, 2010
Just got some really cute hats from Lisa over at Etsy. I am in need of a 6 to 12 month girl to take some pictures of with one of the hats and headbands. She must be sitting up on her own very well and not yet walking. You would need to sign a release as well because the images will be used on Etsy. Great way to get a free mini session. Email me if you are interested Kelly@kellysmithphoto.com.
I also wanted to post a few pictures of my new nephew. He was here all the way from Colorado when he was only 8 days old.

I also want to thank everyone for there kind words, prayers and cards. My mother in law passed away January 26th. Her short, but hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer has taught me to live each day to its fullest. Karen never gave up and loved life. She is very missed and loved, especially by my girls.

Miss Ruby…wisconsin childrens photographer

I just love Miss Ruby’s name. It fits her so well. She was a happy little girl and is definitely very loved by her entire family. I was so excited to finally meet her. I first met with her mom this summer before Ruby was born to talk about her photo shoot and what a success it was! I am already looking forward to our next session outdoors.

I had the best time with this sweet family at the studio last week–and what a good looking family too! The kids were so well behaved and all had these amazing sparkly eyes. Mom and dad were so patient with them and I could tell how much they all cared for each other. The first images of Miss Lola just takes my breathe away. What beautiful art they will have on their walls in their home.
I currently only have one child/family portrait session left for 2009 on December 6th in the morning. I am then closing my calendar until January 2010. For my expecting moms that have already contacted me no worries. I have you on my calendar. And for all you expecting moms that have not contacted me I am sure you could twist my arm for a snugly newborn session!

A fews weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet newborn at her big sister at her home in Oconomowoc. Mom wanted a more rustic feel to her images so I used some of the animal skins from dad’s hunting adventures. These images are going to go perfectly in their beautiful home. I even got a chance to sneak outside with big sister for a few shots. What a lucky family to have such adorable little girls. It was really fun to be on location again!

I had so much fun photographing Everett at his home in Milwaukee. I just love all the tree lined streets and unique homes. Little Everett is 16 months old and was on the move the entire time. He is just adorable with those big brown eyes of his. Mom and dad better watch out because I can already hear the phone ringing with girls on the other end in a few years. Thank you for a fun session Angela and Everett. I will be in touch soon with your gallery.
Off to enjoy this beautiful weather with Kenadie–it is so nice just having one at home in the afternoons. She gets so much special time with me!

So sweet he is and those eyes!

Of course everything went in his mouth–even rocks!

Back to school soon
Posted on August 27, 2009
I cannot believe school starts next week. Summer has gone by so fast. We had the BEST babysitter this summer for the girls and yesterday was her last day. Tatum was so upset when she left she laid in her bed crying. The girls are really going to miss her while she is away at college. My hope is she comes back next summer! Crossing my fingers. Anyway just wanted to say Rachel you were amazing with the girls. They absolutely adore you and I felt so comfortable and safe leaving them home with you. Hope you have a great time at La Crosse and hope to see you over Christmas Break.
Just a little reminder that I sent out emails today to all existing clients about Limited Edition Fall Sessions so be sure to check your in boxes. If I missed you please send me an email.

Sarah thank you for being so fun and open minded and letting me just have fun with your girls. They are beautiful and so much fun.
