Meet Miss Emelia who came to visit me in my studio along with mom and her new little sister. She even had an “auntie” here with her–what a lucky girl. We had a great time playing in the studio and she especially loved jumping on the bed! Children love it here because the rule is there are NO RULES!! So fun! I love each and every one of her pictures–especially her big brown eyes and big sweet smile. Can you tell we were having fun!!

Oconomowoc children photographer

I had the best time with these two adorable children last weekend at their home in Oconomowoc. We explored all over their fabulous subdivision–down to the lake, to the pool and entrance tower. They both have the most beautiful big brown eyes and John was just a natural in front of the camera. Alana was a little ham full of personality–just the way I like them.
Hope you are all enjoying your week and getting ready for school to be out. I am headed to the zoo tomorrow with my oldest for her last field trip of the year. She will soon be a second grader–love her so much.

Sydney….15 days old

Today I had an opportunity to photograph the sweetness newborn baby girl. Miss Sydney was three weeks early and still so tiny when I met her. I was a little afraid she would not sleep for me since she was 15 days old, but she was perfect in every way. She slept like a champ and we were able to get mom’s favorite poses. Gretchen thank you so much for allowing me to share this time with you. Your daughter is beautiful. And I just have to add how sweet and completely adorable her big sister is too!

Cover Shot

Hello everyone! It feels good to be home. Vegas was fun and I have learned so much useful information from some of the countries top photographers, but home is where I love to be. I was so excited to see this new cover from Tot Trends Weekly in my inbox. When Jillian emailed me asking if she could use this image I was so excited! It is fun to be one!

I love to photograph one year olds. They are so fun! Most are walking and they are full of expression and personality. Is she not the cutest! And don’t forget big sister.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I hear we may have a little bit of a heat wave! I am photographing four newborns this week (one set of twins) so I will have lots of sweet cuddly newborn images soon to share.

Lock up your daughters

That is what one of his t-shirts said and it is so true. This little guy will break many hearts I am sure. All the girls will be calling his house (or cell phone) I bet. I had the hardest time picking a favorite so I am showing many from the session. I keep getting kicked off my blog (which is REALLY frustrating) so this post many be in two parts!
