I had a great time with this adorable family last Sunday. I am so happy the rain held off for just for us. Shortly after our session we were hit with that awful storm. I had not photographed Finley since her newborn session last year. She has gotten so big and so has her big brother. Thank you Jeanie and Mike for sharing your family with me.

I had so much fun with this adorable family at the studio last week. All the kids were so well behaved and sweet as could be…the session could not have gone better! And mom has this amazing beautiful red hair that I fell in love with of course (and can you believed she had her third baby 6 weeks ago). I bet sweet little Laiken will have it too. I really love these all!!! I cannot narrow it down to a few so I am sharing lots. Thank you so much for such an amazing session Weiss Family. I cannot wait to see what your favorites are.

Can anyone guess how old Mr. Ayden is? I had so much fun photographing him again at the Oconomowoc studio last week. By the end of the session he was pretending to throw HUGE snowballs at me and I was deflecting them with my feet…snapping pictures in between :) Thank you Dawn for sharing him with me.

Meet sweet Peyton. Last year I met her and her mom and dad for the first time for her one year old portraits and this year I got to see her again for her two year old portraits and in April I will get to see her again with her little brother. Peyton, like most two year olds, favorite word for us was “no” It was actually very funny. However, I got some wonderful portraits of her and am so excited to see what mom and dad pick out as their favorites. Thank you Andrea and Jim for sharing Peyton with me. I am very excited to meet your new little one next year.
I hope you all have a very wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. I cannot believe it is that time already. Every year seems to be going by faster and faster. My daughter turned 9 today which reminded me exactly how fast she is growing up. I hope each and every one of you has a fun, safe and cheerful holiday.

I was so excited to see Miss Anniston again for her 6 month portraits and when I asked mom if she was sitting up yet she said she had been sitting up for a month!! Well Anniston has the biggest most beautiful eyes. You can get lost in them and they just sparkle. Molly and Adam thank you for sharing your sweet girl with me again. She is just perfect.

My girls…

I wanted to share a few images from a sunset shoot with my girls. Oh how I miss the warm golden light of summer/early fall already…well we have next year! This was a last minute squeeze it in shoot before we lost the light and I have to say it is some of my favorite light and favorite images of them..but of course I would think that because they are mine :)! Love you girls…to the moon and back.
I hope these get people thinking about sunset shoots and putting your faith in me for location and style of shoot.

I was so excited when mom called me to set up this session. I photographed Beau when he was a newborn and was a cutie pie he is now. And can I tell you he is one of the happiest one year olds I know. Oh and he just loves his mom and dad. So nice to see what a happy and loving connection they have.

I am a little behind on sneak peeks and this one if officially not a sneak peek anymore. I had a really fun morning at this families home on the lake. It was a lot warmer and sunnier than it has been here the last few days–makes me miss the sunshine. I love how girlie these girls were dressed and you could tell they loves being in their pink skirts. Super cute! Hope everyone is having a great fall weekend. We are off to Elkhorn for another gymnastics meet tomorrow. Good luck to my bean.

I had the best time with Ayden and his mom at my studio last week. He was dressed so cute with all his layers (mom did a great job!) and his sweet smile and big eyes made me smile. I have been photographing Alex since he was just a newborn and I tell you he gets cuter and cuter every time I see him. The last time I photographed him one of the images made the cover of Tot Trends Magazine cover. Recently I photographed his new sister and managed to snap a few of him in the studio. Those big blue eyes and blonde hair get me everytime. I LOVE my job–I really do. I am one lucky girl.
