Yep that’s right they came all the way from Green Bay to have little Braeden’s portraits taken…I feel honored. What a fun session with the sweetest 7 month old. I just love his fuzzy hair too! One of my favorite ages to photograph. Hope everyone is having an awesome week.

It is the greatest compliment when clients return to my studio for portrait sessions and even a bigger compliment when they travel far to see me. I had the pleasure of meeting this amazingly sweet family a year ago for Juliana’s newborn portraits and am thrilled to share her one year portraits with everyone. Can anyone guess how old Mr. Ayden is? I had so much fun photographing him again at the Oconomowoc studio last week. By the end of the session he was pretending to throw HUGE snowballs at me and I was deflecting them with my feet…snapping pictures in between :) Thank you Dawn for sharing him with me.

I am always so honored when families come back to see me time and time again. I love to see how everyone has grown and love to hear toddlers little voices…so magical. Sweet Miss Avlynn came to see me for her one year portraits and we had so much fun at the Oconomowoc studio. She had mom and dad working, but we got some awesome portraits and I am so excited to share them with you.

Meet Miss Riley….I just love her big blue eyes are look at those cheeks and lips. She is simply adorable and I am so excited to share these with her mom and dad. Riley was a little on the serious side, but that was totally her personality and we did manage to get some smiles from her too. While I was sitting editing these pictures I just started to get all excited for 2011. So excited for all the new and old clients that I will get to photograph, new and fun sessions to try out and the never ending possibilities this year will bring me and each and every one of you. Meet sweet Peyton. Last year I met her and her mom and dad for the first time for her one year old portraits and this year I got to see her again for her two year old portraits and in April I will get to see her again with her little brother. Peyton, like most two year olds, favorite word for us was “no” It was actually very funny. However, I got some wonderful portraits of her and am so excited to see what mom and dad pick out as their favorites. Thank you Andrea and Jim for sharing Peyton with me. I am very excited to meet your new little one next year.
I hope you all have a very wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. I cannot believe it is that time already. Every year seems to be going by faster and faster. My daughter turned 9 today which reminded me exactly how fast she is growing up. I hope each and every one of you has a fun, safe and cheerful holiday.

It was so fun to see Mr. Jason again. He is one now and still as cute as can be. Every session I just love his big brown eyes and I crack up on how he can be silly and funny and then as soon as I raise my camera he looks into it with this serious look/pose. I love it! Kamilah and Jason thank you so much for sharing this past year with me and allowing me to document your sweet family.

I had a great time with this adorable family a few weeks ago. We started out in the studio and ended at one of my favorite spots. It was so hot that day, but they were troopers. Mom’s eye are just stunning and little Elisabeth has them too. I am really hoping for one of these to be a big canvas for their home (otherwise I might have to get one for the studio!) Thank you for a fun shoot Chris and Sarah! Your portraits are simply beautiful.
