As I was finishing up this gallery last night I received a text message from mom that her water broke and she was in the hospital. Super excited to meet this new little guy very soon. Kelly I hope all went well and everyone is happy and healthy. Good thing we got these images in last weekend…just in time.

I love maternity sessions because I love to capture the excitement in expecting parents eyes. I love to capture sweet round bellies, glowing faces and the connection between husband and wife. I do have to confess I do love maternity sessions because I know in a few short weeks I get to photography a beautiful newborn baby as well!! Katy just looks fabulous in these images. She is definitely glowing. And their first baby just had to get in a few photographs too. Thank you for a fun session Katy. I will be in touch soon.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet couple at the studio. They just laughed and laughed. It was so refreshing. I can still hear the laughter. I get to meet their new little one tomorrow at the studio and am so excited. There had been a little wave of newborns for me in the last week so lots of sneak peeks coming soon. I have challenged myself to blog every day this week! I will try my hardest.

I had the pleasure of photographing Vanessa and Joe at my natural light studio in Oconomowoc recently for their maternity portraits. All of their images turned out stunning. Vanessa is beautiful and definitely has the pregnancy glow and so much more. I am very excited for their newborn portraits next month. Vanessa emailed me after viewing her portraits for the first time and said ”
I normally don’t consider myself very photogenic but I have to say I love each and every photo” Not photogenic Vanessa. No way. You look amazing!

Ahh how I love all the cute pregnant bellies I have been photographing lately! When Carmen and her husband arrived at the studio and I saw the “I’m carried a watermelon shirt” I knew we HAD to have a watermelon for the photo shoot. Good thing Pick N Save is just down the street. Thank you so much for a fun session and I am so excited to meet your new little guy very soon. This sweet sweet couple came into my studio for their maternity session and we hit it off right away. Sarah is super late back and just glowing. She was so calm and sweet. What a great mom she is going to make. And Mark well he had so many stories for me to hear–I loved it! I can tell he is going to be a really fun dad. I am very excited to meet this little one next month! Thank you so much for a fun session and what beautiful images for you to treasure.

Expecting….Madison Maternity Photographer

Maternity photography sessions are so much fun for me. It takes me back to when I was pregnant with my girls. I remember all the excitement, anticipation and joy I felt. I envy my expecting moms because it is just one of the most amazing times in their lives. Feeling the baby move and kick is something you just cannot ever forget. I just love love these images of Beth. Can you believe I took these on her due date? She was just glowing! We went back behind the studio for a few outside shots and I am so glad we did–the light was great. Thank you for a fun session and I am so excited to meet your new little one.
