I am very behind on my sneak peeks so will try to make it up with many favorites from this on location session in Menomonee Falls. I had so much fun being on location. I love how unique portrait session can be in a families own home. This little guy was so happy and a joy to photograph. Mom loves black and white images and I promise Leah to show you many, but I just had to post the color this time–especially with his amazing blue eyes. I have some of big brother too, but that will have to wait until another day. The first image in my favorite–I think (I have many from this session) I know most parents really want full smile portraits, but I often gravitate to more serious images. Don’t worry there are many smiles and laughs documented in his gallery, but I am just so drawn to the first image.

Valentine’s Day Sessions
This year I am very excited to offer Valentine’s Day mini sessions. My girls handed out personal Valentine’s Day cards last year at school and they were a huge hit. So this year I am hosting mini Valentine’s Day themed sessions at my studio. Session will take place January 23rd, 2010. There are only 10 spots available and the cost is $125 per person per session and includes (25) 4×5 cards, (1) 8×10, (2) 5×7’s and your 15 minute session. *In order to offer this huge savings all portraits and cards are printed on photo paper and are not mounted. Oconomowoc Family Photographer

This family was so fun to photograph. Mom had wanted this session for a very long time and I am so glad we could make it happen. I love every single image from this session. Picking a favorite is really hard. They were so open to any crazy idea I had–boys thank you for being such good sports! Dana and Shawn thank you for sharing your family with me. You are all truly beautiful inside and out.
I am so in love with this first image. A true keepsake for years to come!

Holiday Limited Edition Session

I am excited to announce a holiday limited edition studio session date. These sessions are going to be held on Sunday November 1st at my natural light studio in Oconomowoc. Sessions are scheduled every 30 minutes and will result in 10 to 12 finished images presented to you on line in your private web gallery. This is a great opportunity for holiday gift, cards or an in between session. Collections start at $500 ($280 savings) and include 50 holiday cards and a $450 print credit. Prints start at $55 for an 8×10 or smaller. Individual digital files are available in one collection or as add ons to any collection. This is the only time a year I sell digital files individually! They are great for digital frames, calendars, jewelry or purses. Be sure to take advantage of this special one time a year offer.

When mom called to set up this session I was thrilled to find out they had added to their family since the first time I photographed them. Now a beautiful family of five! And what a fun and good looking family there are. I love all their family portraits. You can tell what a happy family they are. I am so excited for their ordering session so I can help decorate their home with their art.
Don’t forget that I offer in person ordering sessions for every client. Just today I had the pleasure of creating a custom wall display for a fabulous family. I am so excited to see it in their home! I highly encourage all clients to come into the studio for an ordering session. If you are a visual person like I am it will definitely help to see images and sizes put together. Plus it is fun to create art with your portraits.

Wauwatosa Children Photographer

Check out Mr. Noah. Is he not as cute as a button?! And big sister Alex is equally adorable. I absolutely love all the images from this session at the studio in Oconomowoc. These two beautiful children were just a pleasure to photograph. Sorry this blog post is a little late Kelly–I am posting quiet a few to make up for that. Well I had a really hard time narrowing down my choices too.

Adorable 3 month little girl

Today I got a chance to photograph a sweet little 3 month old girl with her mom in the studio. When mom called for the session she warned me how cute she was and mom was not kidding. Look how beautiful this little girl is! Miss Hadley was an absolute pleasure to photograph. And check out how gorgeous mom is! Mom pointed out that Hadley’s little ear curls up and wanted me to capture that. How cute is that! Miss Hadley is one loved and lucky little girl. I cannot wait until Hadley’s six month session!
I will be out of town April 2nd through April 7th at a photography workshop with some amazing photographers and close friends. I will not be answering emails until I return. If you need to get a hold of me please call and I will return your call as soon as possible.

march 12th sneak peek

I have missed this place and am anxious to give you all a sneak peek as to what is coming March 12th! Today I had a little mini session with my girls at a friend’s studio. Thank you Amy for letting me use your studio while I wait for mine to be finished. The girls are dressed in these amazingly unique and fun clothes that I am in love with! More details to follow I promise. For now a few images of my girls showing off for the camera.
I am patiently waiting for a few newborns to be born and one set of twins. So more adorable and sweet little ones to come shortly. While I am waiting I am busy getting ready for 2009 and spending some down time with my family. Next month I am traveling to Las Vegas for the WPPI convention and am really looking forward to all the seminars and tradeshow. I am so excited to learn and be inspired.
