Can anyone guess how old Mr. Ayden is? I had so much fun photographing him again at the Oconomowoc studio last week. By the end of the session he was pretending to throw HUGE snowballs at me and I was deflecting them with my feet…snapping pictures in between :) Thank you Dawn for sharing him with me.

I had so much fun meeting this wonderful family. Mom is the owner The Fabric Gallery in Oconomowoc which if you have not stopped in you must see all the gorgeous fabric….you will be inspired. Little man Henry is just too cute for words. At just about 4 months old he for sure is one of the sweetest babies I have had the pleasure of photographing. I even got to meet Grandpa and it is clear Henry is surrounded by lots of love. Thank you Landy and Mike for sharing your family with me.

I had a great time with sweet Liam and his parents in their beautiful Oconomowoc home. It was so fun to be on location again and capture images for this family in their own home. I love how comfortable people or in their own home and how the light and location is just for them. Little Liam was such a great little guy and we got some amazing portraits to decorate their home with.

Meet Ellie and Simon. They were so cute at the studio this past weekend. Ellie was a total ham for the camera and full of ideas on what to do. Simon a little more reserved, but very sweet and willing to try anything. And I loved every minute of it. Thank you Terri for sharing your beautiful children with me.

I was so excited to see Miss Anniston again for her 6 month portraits and when I asked mom if she was sitting up yet she said she had been sitting up for a month!! Well Anniston has the biggest most beautiful eyes. You can get lost in them and they just sparkle. Molly and Adam thank you for sharing your sweet girl with me again. She is just perfect.

My girls…

I wanted to share a few images from a sunset shoot with my girls. Oh how I miss the warm golden light of summer/early fall already…well we have next year! This was a last minute squeeze it in shoot before we lost the light and I have to say it is some of my favorite light and favorite images of them..but of course I would think that because they are mine :)! Love you girls…to the moon and back.
I hope these get people thinking about sunset shoots and putting your faith in me for location and style of shoot.

This family had the perfect recipe for a dreamy fall portrait session. They were adorable, loved being with each other, dressed so fun and uniquely, so laid back and fun and willing to do whatever I asked them to do. It was so much fun and I got some AMAZING images for them. I know some of these will end up on the walls at the studio. Warning there are a lot here.

When I was editing these images I could not believe it was just two weeks ago when the weather was soooo hot. At the end of the session the kids were jumping in the lake! The weather sure does change fast. What a fun morning with this adorable family. They have the best yard in town I think with a great wooden swing–super fun! Kelly

Ok so I’m really behind in featuring sessions on the blog. August has been crazy busy and I love it, but it has made me very behind on my blog :)!
Alexa came into the studio for her 8 year portrait session and reminded me so much of my oldest daughter. We had a lot of fun with all her awesome clothes and even got outside of the studio for a few pictures. Alexa I had so much fun with you. Thank you so much and have a great o first day of school.

I had the privilege of meeting this sweet new family the other week at my studio. All three children were so adorable and well behaved–and have the best manners. I am really excited for mom and dad to see all the beautiful images!

Sweet Nora is 3 months old and fell asleep as we were getting set up for this portrait. Taking pictures is hard work for little one :)!
