I had the BEST time photographing these twins and the entire family. They are so sweet, loving and genuinely care about each other. These twins are so loved and lucky.

These adorable twins came into the Oconomowoc studio last week and we the best little models for 8 week olds. They just came home from the hospital the week before and I feel so honored to have them in my studio. I just am in love with all these images…so many favorites.

Sweet little Finnian reminded me so much of my girls when they were babies. He was not so much interested in sleeping, but we managed to get a few in dad’s arms that melt my heart. Thank you Phil and Jolene for sharing your sweet boy with me. I hope you are getting some rest.

I cannot believe it is summer and school is out tomorrow. Where is time going??
My summer is almost full and I am thinking about opening up my Fall calendar. Please get in touch soon if you want to book a session. I am sticking to my guns this summer and only taking on a limited number of session so I can spend time with my family as they are going up in front of my eyes (and still like me and like spending time with me…a few short years and they will be teenagers…hopefully they will still like me then too 
)

It has been a baby boom for sure for Kelly Smith Photography this month and next too. I love all these sweet babies and families I am getting a chance to meet and document. This handsome little guy was so good for me. I had so much fun with him and his mom and grandma at the studio. He loved to stretch out and was just the sweetest. Love all his portraits. Thank you for sharing your son with me Katrina. I am so happy your mom was able to be at the session too.

Had sweet baby Jay and his big sisters in the studio last weekend. I just love newborns….really the best time ever! It goes by so quickly and I enjoy sneaking in a few snuggles. Thank you Audra and Justin for sharing your children with me.
Also wanted to announce for the first time Limited Edition sessions available at the studio now through March 31st, 2011. Sessions must take place by 3-31-11. The cost is $525 which includes the session fee and portraits. I am only offering a limited number of these sessions each month so if you are interested please email me for the details and to secure your spot. These are not available for newborns. Mr. Ty was in the studio yesterday for his portrait debut and let me tell you sweet adorable Ty soaked me good. I am not used to little boys. He was also the sleepiest little guy I have had in a while. He let me move him into any position. It was a pure dream session and mom and dad were old pros because big sister Kate was in a year ago for her newborn portraits. This really was a fun and relaxed newborn session that only took 2 hours!! Thank you Sarah, Jeff and big sister Kate.
One last sneak peek before the holiday week begins for me. I cannot believe I will actually have 3.5 days off away from work.

I had the best time with sweet little Nolan and his mom and dad. I am so glad I could squeeze them in. And check out this first image. Stunning. I am so excited that I was able to capture this for this family. Dad is a firefighter and I knew this would be an important image to get!

It was so fun a few weeks ago to take a break from fall portrait sessions and spend sometime with a sweet newborn at my studio. He was a perfect little guy full of smiles for us. It does not get any better than this.

I am very tired (up for 20 hours yesterday, but learned a ton at a conference in Illinois) and ready for bed, but just have to post a sneak peek for Michelle and Mike of their adorable little Maddie. She was so sweet and fun to photograph. I love how she curled up so nice in the first one for me. She preferred to stretch her legs, but I did get her to curl up for a couple. Hope everyone has a great weekend and if you all could say a little pray to keep the rain away I would really appreciate it!!!

PS Some really exciting news coming soon. After some brainstorming today I have come up with an awesome new “thing” to offer. I cannot give it all away, but trust me it is really cool!!!!
