These sweet little girls and their mom and dad came into the studio last week for some portraits of them as a family of 4 before they become a family of 5. I had so much fun with them all. Dad had me laughing the entire time…so fun! Hope everyone is having a great week.

I was so excited to see Mr. Crue again. Last time I saw him he was a teeny tiny newborn and look at him now…so cute and looks just like his big sister. And I think he is going to have red hair :) Thank you Sarah for sharing your little man with me.

Mr. Gavin was all boy for his one year old portraits. We met at his house and played in the back yard. He was definitely more interested in rocks and sticks than me–I totally get it Gavin :)! I really love all his portraits because they capture a typically one year old exploring all around the yard and his eyes just sparkle in every single one.

Just a few quick amazing images from this fun session at the studio last week. January has been so busy with many outstanding portrait sessions that my poor blog is once again falling behind. I am in love with all the images from this session, but want to share just a few while mom patiently waits for her gallery. These children are just beautiful and they all had the most amazing eyes! I have been photography little Miss Ava for a while now, but when she walked into the studio for her Limited Edition photo shoot I could not believe how much she has grown since last year. She is just adorable and so easy to photography. Ava has the best manners and really has fun with me and enjoys having her picture taken. Mom had this hat made special from a knitter on Etsy. Etsy is filled with amazing handmade products. Go check them out! I find most of my knitted items there. Mom and dad order an awesome wall display of these images and I have to say they all turned out fantastic. Joanne I want to see some pictures once you get them all hung.

Client Matilda Jane Contest Winner

And it looks like the winner is #7 from my client Matilda Jane Contest. Thank you to everyone who sent in their images and also thank you to all that voted. This was fun and I will be sure to do it again. I had a great time seeing images that my clients took themselves. I posted the winning image below with my edit.
I hope all moms had a fabulous Mother’s Day with their families. I am a little behind in my blogging and hope to catch up soon.
I am now booking for June and later. I have also opened my calendar for Fall appointments because I have had a lot of inquires. Please note that if you book a session your session fee is due now to reserve your date.
